Job Summary:
Your primary responsibility will be performing administrative tasks to support the design and quality assurance efforts of the Custom Engineering team.
Job Duties:
- Work directly with product specialists, designers, engineers, and leadership to ensure timely progression of order workflows for new customer orders.
- Using 3DX software; create new items, new or revised Bills of Material (BOMs), and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
- Manage design documentation records including filing and processing of new orders and change orders.
- Conduct internal QA audits and review BOMs, ECOs, and Production Support Requests for completeness, clarity, and accuracy. Provide recommendations on areas for improvement and work with leadership to implement problem resolution and process improvements.
- Assist in creation, distribution, and management of quality assurance related metrics and visual controls.
- Assist in creation and management of standardized work, design guidelines, procedural instructions, and other quality assurance related documentation
Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and work within a team environment.
- Computer skills with emphasis in Excel, Access & Oracle
- Experience working in a professional office environment, preferably in an engineering and technical design related field.
