Engineering Operations Manager
Job Description
- Assume responsibility for all engineering disciplines in the Molding department. Engineering disciplines include Process Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering.
- Create and drive business excellence strategies in striving for the world-class manufacturing culture in following areas: Continuous Improvement Engineering, Process Engineering Excellence strategies, Manufacturing Engineering.
- Utilize the tools of Problem Solving, Lean, Six Sigma, and other Continuous Improvement Processes to create a culture of world-class Operational Excellence.
- Actively works with New Product Development group in launching new products and bringing new innovative manufacturing processes.
- Communicates and coordinates all CI initiatives throughout the organization to interested parties of varying technical knowledge levels from directors to engineers to operators.
- Translates and documents performance improvements to financial values that align with corporate goals.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred or other technical degree
- 5+ years of Engineering Management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understands P&L at a departmental level.
- Ability to motivate and guide others through excellent leadership skills
