Facility CAD Designer
Job Description
- Gather requirements and work with engineers to produce CAD drawings for facility piping, HVAC, electrical distribution, and related MEP systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD to create designs, bid packages, construction, and as-built drawing documentation.
- Receive, review, and adjust as-built AutoCAD designs, as needed.
- Check design data into the drawing management system.
- Associate’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent 2D AutoCAD skills (merging, Xref, drawing standards etc.).
- Experience with facility as-built and markups to reflect existing conditions and transfer to AutoCAD.
- Prior experience working as a CAD Designer for an Architectural/Engineering (A&E) firm is a strong plus.
