Sterling Engineering is a growing engineering and staffing services firm that specializes in placing top talent across the U.S and Ireland. Our firm has partnered with a industrial machinery manufacturing company on adding to their Automation Engineering team by bringing in a Manager to lead a team from U.S, Mexico, and Canada. Company focuses on the food and beverage industry.

Title: Automation Engineering Manager
Location: Based Out Of NY, FULLY REMOTE
Travel: 20%
$$$: 130-160k (10% Bonus)


Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and support lead engineers
  • Create a technical strategy and budget proposal
  • Implement and monitor technical strategy performance metrics
  • Developing strategies, procedures and taking ownership of the long-term planning and development of the team
  • Approvals for automation and electrical scope at bid phase


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or related field of study
  • 3+ years' of management experience
  • Experience in Automation OR Controls Engineering
