Hire Type: Direct Hire - $22-$35 per hour depending on experience

Job Summary: The Electrician will be responsible for organizing, planning and executing all phases of electrical assembly. You will interpret schematics, Bill of Materials, drawings, and manufacturer guidelines to achieve the desired results. You will use your knowledge of OSHA and NEC regulations to produce safe and economically efficient machines/systems. The ideal candidate will have experience interfacing with engineering to recommend major changes to planned layout/schematics, and will be able to wire all electrical components on machinery. You will also be proficient in the use of hand tools, soldering irons, mechanical and electronic test equipment to verify product standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize, plan and execute all phases of electrical assembly
  • Interpret schematics, Bill of Materials, drawings, and manufacturer guidelines
  • Use knowledge of OSHA and NEC regulations to produce safe and economically efficient machines/systems
  • Interface with engineering to recommend major changes to planned layout/schematics
  • Wire all electrical components on machinery
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, soldering irons, mechanical and electronic test equipment to verify product standards
  • Interface with members of project team and customers in order to accomplish goal

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an electrician
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, soldering irons, mechanical and electronic test equipment to verify product standards
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, Bill of Materials, drawings, and manufacturer guidelines
  • Knowledge of OSHA and NEC regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Equipment:

  • General knowledge of all types of hand tools, including crimpers and soldering equipment
  • General knowledge of inspection equipment including calipers, various gauges, and electronic test equipment - voltage regulators, amp meters, hypot testers, etc.
