Title: Electrician

Hourly Rate: $30hr - $37hr (based on experience)  

Hours/Shift: 1st Shift Mon-Fri 

Location: Glendale Heights, IL 

Hire Type: Full-Time, hourly (40hrs per week minimally)

Job Summary:
  • We are looking for a skilled Electrical Control Panel Technician to assemble and wire electrical control panels and perform machine wiring. This role involves working with electrical schematics, performing mechanical tasks, and assisting engineers with system testing. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, knowledge of electrical components, and a commitment to workplace safety.

Job Duties:
  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels using point-to-point wiring.

  • Wire machines according to electrical schematics and drawings.

  • Perform mechanical tasks, including mounting enclosures, punching holes, drilling, tapping, and bending conduit.

  • Assist electrical engineers with pre-functional testing and machine start-ups.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area following 5S principles.

  • Adhere to all workplace safety standards and protocols.

  • Follow assembly instructions and complete quality control documentation.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and Bills of Materials (BOMs).

  • Familiarity with electrical control system components (e.g., breakers, disconnects, switches, relays, timers).

  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic schematics.

  • Experience with mechanical assembly and basic fabrication is a plus.
