Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for performing detailed engineering design on a variety of engineering tasks; performing engineering tasks on multiple small to medium sized projects.
Job Duties:
- Applying engineering knowledge, principles and practices in broad area of project assignments
- Regularly work with internal and external engineers and project managers to ensure projects are being completed correctly on time and on budget
- Providing input to Project Managers concerning potential process and design improvements related to engineering design and technology
- Assisting in preparing proposals by estimating engineering hours as an engineering discipline lead
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering from an accredited university
- Registration as a professional engineer is highly preferred or willing to obtain a PE
- Minimum of 1 to 5 years of work experience with in the electric and/or distribution as it relates to the utilities industry or a related industry.
- An understanding of Utility and NESC standards
- 1+ years of O-Calc software experience
