Electrical Project Engineer (Panels / Controls)
Job Description
- Lead and oversee the assembly of industrial control panels, including component placement, wire routing, and overall build quality.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, including assistance with equipment setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and execute functional, continuity, and validation testing for electrical systems and panels.
- Identify root causes of wiring or system issues and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and assembly teams to support efficient, compliant, and repeatable electrical builds.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
- Active UL Manufacturers Technical Representative (MTR) certification, or the demonstrated ability to successfully complete the UL certification process.
- At least five years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment with hands-on electrical responsibilities.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, specifications, and blueprints.
- Experience developing clear, operator-level work instructions aligned to product and process requirements.
- Proficiency using hand tools and electrical test equipment, including multimeters.
