Job Description

Title: Electrical Panel Builder 

Hourly Pay: $27hr - $31hr 

Shift/Hours: 1st Shift Mon-Friday 

Location: West Dundee, IL 60118

Hire Type: Direct Hire

Job Duties:
  • Assemble custom machinery panels and install electrical components using schematics, engineering drawings, and job specifications.
  • Conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies and wire harnesses using a voltmeter.
  • Interpret wiring diagrams to accurately install components such as heaters, sensors, relays, circuit breakers, motor drives, push buttons, switches, solenoids, and more.
  • Install junction boxes, wireways, and secure connections between machine control panels and subpanels, including wiring transformers, PLCs, motors, and sensors.
  • Measure and cut mounting rails, wiring ducts, and hardware, ensuring components are aligned and neatly mounted according to safety guidelines.
  • Punch holes and install fastening components while maintaining essential tools and following all safety regulations.

Qualifications:
  • Ability to build electrical control panels, wiring machinery components utilizing layout diagrams and schematics
