Senior Electrical Engineer-MEP
Job Description
- Conceptually develop electrical designs for new construction and renovation projects.
- Provide electrical engineering support to project managers throughout the design process.
- Direct the work of junior engineers and designers on assigned projects.
- Attend and participate in client meetings and design review sessions.
- Develop detailed construction documents and design specifications.
- Conduct on-site construction administration and site inspection visits to ensure quality and compliance.
- Effectively coordinate and collaborate within a multi-disciplinary project team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) from an accredited institution.
- A Professional Engineering (PE) License is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated expertise in preparing comprehensive construction documents using discipline-specific software (e.g., Revit and electrical modeling software).
- Proven ability to develop high-quality construction document sets encompassing lighting, power distribution, and fire alarm systems.
