Job Description

Must be proficient with E-Plan
Pay rate:  $35-45/hr

Overview:
Seeking a contract Electrical Designer proficient in E-Plan to support machine design projects. 

Responsibilities:
  • Create detailed electrical designs from schematics, sketches, and engineering data
  • Use E-Plan and CAD tools to develop electrical schematics and panel layouts
  • Select and specify electrical components for machinery
  • Evaluate design feasibility, cost, and function
  • Maintain and update electrical symbols library
  • Perform basic calculations for fuses, relays, starters, and conductors
  • Redesign control systems to meet updated requirements
  • Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, and supporting documentation
  • Assist in creating manuals and maintaining design files

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in E-Plan
  • Experience with CAD-based electrical design
  • Strong understanding of electrical components and control systems
  • Ability to perform basic electrical calculations
  • Prior experience in machinery or industrial equipment design preferred
