Title: Electrical Engineer 1
Location: Onsite 5 days/week - Tualatin, OR
Hire Type: Contract

Job Duties
Performs routine engineering assignments, basic calculations, and data collection while preparing deliverables such as drawings, reports, specifications, and studies of limited scope.
Performs initial technical screens, reviews application packages for completeness and accuracy, and validates single-line diagrams to ensure alignment with interconnection requirements and safety standards.
Assesses transformer loading, service panel capacity, and basic voltage impacts while comparing submitted documentation against utility databases (e.g., SAP) to flag reliability or compliance concerns.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required, with relevant coursework from an accredited program.
Years of Experience: 0–1 year of experience in Distribution.
Job Experience Requirements: Familiarity with basic Distribution System design concepts (under 30kW systems, DER, DG), performing application screening, assessing transformer/panel capacity, and validating single-line diagrams.
Software Experience: Prior experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP Work Management.
Soft Skills: Problem-solving, quick learning agility, strong written/verbal communication, team collaboration, drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
