Job Summary: 

Job Duties:

• Detail Electrical and Mechanical systems, meeting engineering standards, applicable codes, customer specifications within cost constraints.
• Work from internal and customer specifications as required for product requirements.
• Investigate work pertinent to the design and maintenance reference criterion.
• Assist to analyze project manufacturing and material costs and develop designs that can be produced economically. 
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
• Assist with analyzing results and redesign if required.
• Maintain product integrity as required due to part obsolescence.
• Develop working relationship with shop to address and resolve problems and to develop better cooperation for working together toward producing the highest quality products.
• Assist in the preparation of layout drawings and details to conform to engineering changes.
• Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations. 
• Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.

Qualifications:

•  Requires an engineering degree or equivalent related experience, along with at least a year of additional related experience in electrical detailing of assemblies. 
• AutoDesk/AutoCAD and Inventor, Experience in MS Office applications. 
• Additional experience in metal fabricating, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
