Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Location: Columbus, OH

Hire Type: Contract (6 to 12 month engagement; could be extended)

Job Summary:
-- Works closely with project leads to design schematic drawing sets for custom automation equipment
-- Designs system layouts, network layouts, and installation details
-- Prepares schematics and panel layouts for control panel fabrication
-- Creates bills of material for panels
-- Coordinates ordering of field materials and panels
-- Updates drawings to “as-built” status at project completion
Qualifications:
-- Works closely with project leads to design schematic drawing sets for custom automation equipment

Qualifications:
-- EPlan design software experience required
-- Bachelors degree Electrical Engineering OR equivalent experience
-- Knowledge of design of controls and controllers such as Rockwell/Allen-Bradley is helpful
-- Knowledge of electrical controls terminology
-- Knowledge of NFPA 70 National Electric Code, NFPA 79 and other electrical/safety standards
-- Bachelors degree Electrical Engineering OR equivalent experience
-- Knowledge of design of controls and controllers such as Rockwell/Allen-Bradley is helpful
