Electrical Design Engineer

Position: Electrical Design Engineer 

Experience/Education:

• Electrical Design Engineering Degree
• Experience with PLC software, VFD programming, and electrical CAD literacy
• Previous experience designing conveyors and material-handling equipment for the Food, Plastic recycling, and Packaging industry
• Ability to work independently and knowledge of modern manufacturing methods

• General Job Description: 
• Design custom conveyor systems and material handling equipment for the Food, Plastic recycling, and Packaging industry. Create sound mechanical drawings while maintaining costs and providing customer-specific solutions. Detailed Job Responsibilities:
• Create design specifications for custom Inspection systems
• Design conveyor systems and associated material handling equipment
• Create system electrical assembly drawings
• Process engineering jobs through the design process within a specific timescale
• Develop product improvement and material cost reduction strategies
• Provide support to production, purchasing, and other functions within the company
• Participate in product development teams and communicate effectively with counterparts in the parent company
• Maintain and update appropriate databases
• Perform other duties as reasonable requested.

• Electrical CAD design, Food and Packaging Industry, PLC/VFD programming, Conveyor Design Education:
• Electrical Design Engineering Degree, Associate Degree (Preferred but not required)
