Electrical Controls Engineer
Job Description
Location: Near Pleasant Prairie, WI
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $85k-$95k/yr.

- Research and develop new and existing products using the gateway process
- Establish project budgets and schedules, addressing issues with minimal cost and time impact
- Design custom control circuits for special customer requirements
- Troubleshoot, support, maintain, and design production electrical testing areas
- Document product use, costs, and implementation across all design phases
- Independently manage assigned projects
- Develop and maintain panel designs, including schematics, BOMs, and wiring tables
- Develop electrical component programs
- Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting for product issues
- Assist with electrical testing area maintenance and design
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Technology
- 2-5 years of engineering experience, preferably in product design within a manufacturing environment
- 1-3 years of experience with VFD drives, PLCs, and industrial controls
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, and Auto LISP preferred
- Experience with GD&T, DFMEA, and product design preferred
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with the ability to predict outcomes and implement countermeasures
- Basic programming skills in PLC, SCADA, and HMI
