Sterling Engineering is looking for an Electrical Assembler to perform final electrical and mechanical assembly of medium and high-frequency power supplies, including heat stations, work handling equipment, and coil assemblies. This role involves detailed electrical wiring, fitting, and mechanical assembly work to ensure all systems meet customer specifications. Candidates must have hands-on experience with point-to-point wiring and be able to work from schematics and build documentation.

Job Duties:
  • Review specifications and bills of material; check kit contents and prepare shortage lists if needed.
  • Plan and perform wiring, terminal connections, and electrical attachments, including precise point-to-point wiring.
  • Assemble and connect hosing; perform water tests to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Assemble, attach, and route pneumatic and hydraulic components and associated hosing.
  • Adjust, modify, and fabricate parts and assemblies as required to meet customer specifications.
  • Layout, assemble, and attach systems for customer inspection, factory interconnection, or final test.
  • Perform skilled fitting of parts, subassemblies, and related units.
Qualifications:
  • Strong experience with point-to-point wiring and interpreting electrical schematics.
  • Solid mechanical and electrical assembly background.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems preferred.
  • Skilled in use of hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
  • Must be able to perform precision assembly work with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for service work.
