Electrical Assembler
Job Description
Location: Brookfield, WI
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $50k-$55k/yr.
- Review specifications and BOMs; verify kit contents and prepare shortage lists as needed.
- Plan and execute wiring, terminal connections, and point-to-point electrical attachments.
- Assemble and test pneumatic and hydraulic systems, including hosing and water testing.
- Perform adjustments, modifications, and fabrication to meet functional and customer-specific requirements.
- Fit, align, and machine parts or sub-assemblies to final configuration.
- Conduct final assembly layout for inspection, factory testing, and shipment preparation.
- Clean and prep equipment prior to shipment.
- Occasionally perform off-site service calls.
- Follow all housekeeping and safety procedures.
- Strong experience with point-to-point wiring.
- Good mechanical aptitude with experience assembling machinery or equipment.
- Plumbing experience is a plus (many bus bars are water-cooled), but can be trained.
- Familiarity with both electrical and mechanical build work; flexibility is key.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic assembly preferred.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for off-site service work.
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, shop-floor environment where no two builds are the same.
