EHS Specialist
Job Description
- Lead site EHS initiatives, including the Safety Committee and Machine Guarding projects.
- Address EHS audit findings and support supervisors in improving safety and liability.
- Conduct EHS inspections, incident investigations, and ensure compliance with legal requirements (e.g., Air Permits, Hazardous Waste).
- Track and report EHS metrics, providing recommendations and corrective action follow-up.
- Develop and deliver EHS training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in EHS, OSH, Engineering, or a related field.
- CSP, CIH, or CHMM certifications are a plus.
- 2+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or project management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with SharePoint is a plus.
