Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 (Experience-dependent)
We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Specialist for our Salt Lake City facility. Your role is pivotal in coordinating EHS program activities, fostering a strong EHS culture, and driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
Policy Development: Assist in creating and enforcing EHS policies.
Training: Conduct safety orientation and training programs.
Audits and Inspections: Ensure compliance through audits and inspections.
Performance Tracking: Analyze data, identify trends, and develop improvement plans.
Safety Committee Leadership: Champion the Safety Committee, promoting engagement.
Global EHS Initiatives: Execute global EHS programs at the facility level.
Regulatory Compliance: Alert management to local compliance issues.
Incident Reporting: Conduct investigations and implement preventive actions.
Administrative Duties: Manage EHS-related administrative tasks.
Reporting: Handle regional EHS & S performance reporting.
Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement EHS best practices.
Second-Party Audits: Coordinate and close audit findings.
EHS Support for Capital Projects: Provide EHS support for facility projects.
Skills & Requirements:
1-5 years of EHS experience in General Industry.
Experience in policy development and safety training.
Strong communication and computer skills.
Manufacturing background preferred.
Proven track record of influence and leadership.
Ability to push back on senior leadership.
Planning & Organizing, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
