Summary:
The EHS Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and driving the implementation of environmental, health, and safety activities and policies for our company in the plant. The successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and vision to ensure the highest standards of EHS performance are met, aligning with corporate goals and maintaining ethical standards.

Responsibilities:
Assume leadership responsibility for all EHS-related matters within the plant, fostering a cohesive and collaborative environment.
Develop and implement effective health and safety programs, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
Facilitate communication and connectivity between plant staff, fostering teamwork and open dialogue.
Manage relationships with third-party service providers for EHS activities, ensuring their effectiveness and compliance.
Stay updated on local EHS laws and regulations, interpret their implications, and design processes and programs to adapt accordingly.
Investigate deficiencies and legal threats, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate corrective actions within specified timelines.
Lead the development and continuous improvement of performance-based EHS measures aligned with short-term and long-term plant and company goals.
Design and deliver comprehensive EHS training programs for the plant, establishing minimum requirements, policies, and programs.
Provide guidance and direction on policy matters related to EHS.
Proactively identify ongoing and future environmental, health, and safety needs, developing strategies to address them comprehensively.
Establish, manage, and execute the plant EHS Audit Program.
Monitor and track local insurance improvement plans.
Ensure compliance with Legal and Ethical Conduct Policy.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position provides guidance and direction to the local site and reports directly to the Site Leader.

Qualifications:
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on EHS, preferably with management of EHS programs.
Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety Engineering, or a related technical field is required.
Professional certification preferred (Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Hazardous Material Manager, or equivalent in the country).
Strong analytical, project management, organizational, and communication skills (both oral and written).
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with a collaborative approach to influence and work effectively across the plant.
Experience with industry and safety-related software is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of governmental regulations.
Proficient computer skills.
