Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 per year (based on experience)
Overview:
Join Sterling Engineering as an Environmental Health and Safety Manager (EHS Manager) and be a driving force behind our commitment to safety and compliance. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will ensure that safety remains a top priority as we grow.
Key Responsibilities:
Define and maintain safety standards at [Company Name] and customer sites.
Develop and oversee the environmental health and safety program for our operations.
Ensure compliance with regulations and manage audits by OSHA or customers.
Investigate incidents, analyze data for hazards, and implement corrective actions.
Conduct safety training and promote a culture of safety.
Extensive knowledge of environmental regulations in manufacturing and construction.
Strong analytical, communication, and change management skills.
OSHA 30 Hour Certification in Construction and General Industry.
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety, or related field.
5 years of related experience preferred.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Visual and hearing acuity for communication and training.
