Title: Drafter 

Location: Greater Boston

Job Duties:
  • Converting MicroStation drawings to AutoCAD and manipulating layers
  • Creating baseline drawings of existing client facilities overlaid on proposed civil design files (provided by client)
  • Interpreting client facility maps and placing facilities in AutoCAD drawings
  • Interpreting client reports regarding rights of way, easements and environmental site investigations and placing the required information into a baseline drawing
  • Modifying drawings as directed by engineer or design coordinator

Requirements:

  • Must have High School Diploma, Associate’s degree in design/drafting technology preferred

  • Must feel comfortable using MicroStation, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

  • Must have drivers license and reliable form of transportation

  • Gas utilities knowledge/permitting experience is preferred but willing to train the right person
