Job Description
Location: Greater Boston
- Converting MicroStation drawings to AutoCAD and manipulating layers
- Creating baseline drawings of existing client facilities overlaid on proposed civil design files (provided by client)
- Interpreting client facility maps and placing facilities in AutoCAD drawings
- Interpreting client reports regarding rights of way, easements and environmental site investigations and placing the required information into a baseline drawing
- Modifying drawings as directed by engineer or design coordinator
Requirements:
Must have High School Diploma, Associate’s degree in design/drafting technology preferred
Must feel comfortable using MicroStation, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
Must have drivers license and reliable form of transportation
Gas utilities knowledge/permitting experience is preferred but willing to train the right person
