Sterling Engineering is looking for a Distribution Engineering Designer I in Maitland, FL. This opportunity supports utility and electrical distribution projects with a mix of field and design work.

Job Duties:
  • Perform field data collection, site inspections, and documentation
  • Prepare CAD drawings to support engineering design
  • Assist with generating permitting packages
  • Support project teams with design and field coordination
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma required
  • 1+ year of experience in utilities, construction, or a technical field preferred
  • Basic understanding of electrical distribution systems
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to walk long distances on uneven terrain and lift up to 35 lbs
