Sterling Engineering is looking for a Designer I in the Energy sector. This opportunity supports power and utility projects with a mix of field and office-based work.

Job Duties:
  • Perform field data collection and support outage audits
  • Assist with planning, design, and project coordination activities
  • Collect measurements, take photos, and document site conditions
  • Prepare reports and maintain project documentation
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of work experience
  • Background or interest in power/energy industry preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret basic drawings and project information
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to walk at least 1 mile in field conditions and work outdoors
