Job Description
Title: Design Technician
Location: Dover, DE
Hire Type: Contract to hire
Compensation: Up to $22/hour

- Design electrical systems for overhead and underground utility projects, including creating detailed construction drawings and accurate bills of materials.
- Perform field visits (25%-30%) to inspect infrastructure and ensure the accuracy of designs.
- Support pre-construction activities, answering questions related to the job site and design.
- Ability to work in a customer and client-facing environment with strong customer service skills
- Entry-level experience (0-3 years) in a design engineering role.
- Proficiency in drafting/design software (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- A strong desire to learn and grow in a technical environment.
