Job Summary:
Design custom Cast-in heaters and heating elements based on customer requirements. Responsible for creating and maintaining drawings, and monitoring the manufacturing processes of the product to help facilitate the highest level of quality at the most optimal production rate & eliminating all problems and issues that may arise with the design.
Job Duties:
- Design Cast-in heaters and heating elements based on the customer’s requirements and/or drawings
- Create manufacturing drawings and release orders into production
- Resolve production issues and challenges
- Simulate Casting process using simulation software
- Create CNC programs using CAD/CAM software
- Maintain files and drawings of all designs to a company with ISO 9001:2015 requirements
- Provide technical support to customers, sales team
- Assist customers with new projects and calculations
- Evaluation of customer returns as required
- Research raw material and Maintain drawings and specifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree required with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Working knowledge of 2D software and Microsoft Office required
- 3-D Modeling experience using Solid Works software required
- Knowledge of Casting and Machining operations required
- Two years of related experience preferred
- Casting simulation experience preferred
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM machining software preferred
- Knowledge of Basic Electrical circuits preferred
- Knowledge of sheet metal design preferred
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and practices preferred
