Design Engineer I
Job Description
- Design, create new drawings, and maintain existing drawings using AutoCAD
- Create Engineering Change Notices and perform calculations within Excel
- Create and maintain 3D models in AutoDesk Inventor
- Create and maintain Bills of Material using LN MRP
- Knowledge of industry, engineering, math, and materials
- Spend time on the production floor to learn about the products and operation
Qualifications:
- An Associate’s degree or higher in a related field, or its equivalent in a combination of formal education and direct work experience
- Entry level with basic system knowledge
- AutoCAD, Inventor, and/or 3D modeling Software proficiency
- Ability to write and perform routine mathematical calculations clearly and correctly
