Delivery Driver (Class B)
Job Description
Shift: 1st shift; M-F
Hire Type: Direct Hire
- Operate a 24' stake bed truck to safely deliver materials to customers and project sites
- Load and secure materials properly for safe transport
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain delivery documentation and obtain delivery confirmations
- Communicate with dispatch and warehouse staff regarding routes and schedules
- Assist with loading/unloading materials as needed
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Provide professional customer service during deliveries
- Valid Class B CDL (required)
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background/drug screening
- Ability to safely operate stake bed trucks
- Ability to lift, move, and secure materials during deliveries
- Strong reliability and attendance
- Good communication and customer interaction skills
- Frequent lifting, bending, and securing of materials
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to safely enter and exit truck multiple times throughout the day
