Job Title: Debug Technician – Electrical & Mechanical Systems
Location: Austin, TX
Hours: 2nd Shift 

About the Role:
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Debug Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you'll dive deep into diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and mechanical assemblies that keep our production operations running at peak performance. If you're passionate about solving problems, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and making an impact on high-tech manufacturing processes, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies at the component level.
  • Operate diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and other test equipment.
  • Provide technical support and mentorship to fellow technicians and assemblers.
  • Work closely with Engineering to resolve design or functionality issues and improve procedures.
  • Support onboarding and training for new assembly and service team members.
  • Assist in creating and updating work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor and track production equipment performance—yields, cycle times, and reliability.
  • Support installation, debugging, and validation of new and existing manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following safety protocols and identifying risks.
  • Create and maintain a PCBA Debug Guide for consistent, effective troubleshooting.
  • Deliver training and hands-on support to other debug technicians on PCBA diagnostics.

What You Bring:
  • Proven experience troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Familiarity with oscilloscopes, test benches, and diagnostic tools.
  • Strong understanding of PCBA-level debugging and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and production.
  • Solid documentation and technical writing skills.
  • A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Nice to Have:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, etc.).
  • Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure.
