In this hands-on role, you'll dive deep into diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and mechanical assemblies that keep our production operations running at peak performance. In this hands-on role, you'll dive deep into diagnosing and repairing complex electrical and mechanical assemblies that keep our production operations running at peak performance. What You’ll Do:
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical assemblies at the component level.
- Operate diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and other test equipment.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to fellow technicians and assemblers.
- Work closely with Engineering to resolve design or functionality issues and improve procedures.
- Support onboarding and training for new assembly and service team members.
- Assist in creating and updating work instructions, batch records, equipment logs, and technical documentation.
- Monitor and track production equipment performance—yields, cycle times, and reliability.
- Support installation, debugging, and validation of new and existing manufacturing equipment.
- Ensure a safe work environment by following safety protocols and identifying risks.
- Create and maintain a PCBA Debug Guide for consistent, effective troubleshooting.
- Deliver training and hands-on support to other debug technicians on PCBA diagnostics.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience troubleshooting electronic and mechanical systems in a manufacturing or technical environment.
- Familiarity with oscilloscopes, test benches, and diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of PCBA-level debugging and repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering and production.
- Solid documentation and technical writing skills.
- A proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
Nice to Have:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., medical devices, aerospace, etc.).
- Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma exposure.
