Title: Data Center Mechanical Commissioning Provider

In this role, you will:
  • Coordinate with general contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and the owner verbally and in writing
  • Perform design reviews including OPR, BOD, Plans and Specifications
  • Review submittals and shop drawings
  • Perform periodic Site Observation Visits during construction and preparing Site Observation Reports
  • Develop project specific test scripts including Level 2 Installation Verification Checklists, Level 4
  • Perform Functional Performance Tests (FPT), and Level 5 Integrated Systems Tests (IST).
  • Responsible for onsite execution and witnessing of tests
  • Manage the resolution of Commissioning Issues
  • Work around live components, three phase AC Power Systems, Direct Current (DC) power systems, and fire alarm systems.
You will be a great fit if:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or 5+ years of equivalent MEP construction, commissioning and project management experience
  • You have experience in design and/or construction of hyperscale Data Centers
  • Professional Engineering License a plus
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety is required.
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety is not required but preferred.
  • Knowledge of Building Automation Systems is a plus
  • Field experience is preferred
  • Certification in Building Commissioning is not required but preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
  • A high-level understating of engineering knowledge, specifically in the built environment.
  • You will be comfortable working around Mechanical HVAC equipment and systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to respond thoughtfully and effectively to sensitive situations.
  • Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze relevant information and provide thoughtful solutions.
