Must have Skill Set

  • 2+ years of customer service or order processing experience
  • Experience with ERP and EDI systems (Business Central and/or TrueCommerce preferred)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional service throughout the order lifecycle. This role is responsible for processing orders, resolving customer inquiries, coordinating with internal departments, and supporting the sales team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. 

Job Duties: 


  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering professional and timely support.
  • Process customer orders accurately while monitoring order status, backorders, and shipment updates.
  • Partner closely with the sales team to resolve customer account discrepancies and provide administrative support.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including shipping, receiving, purchasing, logistics, accounting, and quality to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
  • Research and resolve customer concerns by identifying solutions and communicating updates effectively.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and documentation while ensuring a high level of attention to detail.
  • Provide occasional front desk coverage and assist with additional administrative responsibilities as needed.
  • Perform other duties and special projects to support business operations.

Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of customer service, order management, or inside sales support experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and EDI/order management software; experience with Business Central or TrueCommerce is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
