Job Title: Chemical Engineer - Crystallization Process (Dextrose Lines)
Location: Bedford Park, IL
Pay Rate:  $60/hr - $125/hr DOE
Job Type: Full-time, Long term Contract

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Chemical Engineer to take charge of a long-awaited project focused on optimizing the Crystallization process within our Dextrose production lines. This is an exciting opportunity to bring your expertise to a project that has been on hold for a year due to bandwidth constraints within the team. The equipment is in place, and the project is ready to go—now we just need the right leader to push the start button.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project from initiation through to completion, ensuring all processes are optimized for maximum efficiency.
  • Work directly with the production team to implement and refine the Crystallization process.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on all aspects of the project, particularly within the sugar crystallization domain.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot process issues, recommending and implementing improvements.
  • Ensure all project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new processes with existing operations.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on Crystallization processes, preferably in sugar production.
  • Proven experience leading complex projects from start to finish.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with production teams.
