Title: Credit Collection Analyst 
Location: Bensenville, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $65k - $70k

Work Type: 100% onsite 

Summary:
The Credit Collections Analyst will handle day to day collection activities, will handle credit holds, trade references, and credit reports. Will make recommendations on strategies to minimize credit risk to the company and support as back up to Credit Manager.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day Collection activities
  • Customer calls and emails, payment dispute resolution, with goal of reduction in A/R past dues and improving cash flow  
  • Maintain detailed and organized Customer Credit files and collection call notes
  • Process new Credit requests and monitor existing customers for creditworthiness- Including review of credit reports, Trade References, Financials, and other research as needed. Make Credit recommendations based on Credit Data collected
  • Provide recommended action to Credit Manager on delinquent accounts
  • Provide Credit Manager information pertinent to timely placement of Collections 
  • Research short payments and follow through with resolution in a timely manner
  • Backup to Credit Manager, including Credit Holds and Release of orders as needed
  • Monitoring and keeping up to date with A/R email requests including providing invoice copies, credit card receipts, remittances, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent oral and written, communication and organization skills
  • Experience working within an Accounts Receivable department as well as credit analysis experience 
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively handle all personality types when dealing with external and internal customers
