Controls Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Controls Engineer 

Direct Hire

 Pay Range: $80-$100k per year depending on experience.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our engineering department. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing electrical control systems for industrial machinery. The ideal candidate will have 0-5 years of experience and will possess a BSEE/BSEET degree.

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze design requirements, generate schematic diagrams and create bills of material • Develop PLC and HMI application software • Verify and validate designs through simulations and testing • Commission and trouble-shoot equipment at customer facilities as required

Requirements: • BSEE/BSEET degree • 0-5 years’ experience • Proficient in AutoCAD, wiring schematics and Microsoft Word and Excel • Experience with PLCs, AC/DC drives, HMI, communications (Ethernet, Controlnet) is desirable but not mandatory • Additional consideration for applicants with NEC, UL, CE and CSA code experience, Wonderware, web-handling, or PID temperature controls experience
