Title: Controls Engineer
Location: Machesney Park, IL 61115 - 100% onsite 
Employment Type: Long-term Contract 


Our client is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer with strong expertise in Siemens PLC programming for a long-term contract. In this role, you will design, program, and implement control systems for various industrial applications within a candy manufacturing company to ensure seamless and efficient operation. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and program Siemens PLCs using STEP 5, STEP 7, and or TIA Portal.
  • Design and configure HMI systems, including WinCC.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize control systems for reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project requirements and specifications.
  • Provide technical support during system commissioning and integration.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Siemens PLC programming (STEP 7, TIA Portal).
  • Strong background in control system design and HMI development.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
