Hire Type:  CONTRACT-TO-HIRE Or Direct Hire - $35-$45 per hour depending on experience

Job Summary: 
Description: Upgrade Safety Controls and Distributed I/O from Rockwell Guard-PLC (programmed using RSLogix Guard Plus!, now obsolete/un-licensable/cost prohibitive) to CompactLogix 1769 GuardLogix. 

 
Job Duties:
  •  Essentially we are migrating the programmable safety logic and safety hardware from the Guard-PLC to GuardLogix safety PLC. There is no machine control on this PLC, only safety functions using logical safety instructions for guard doors, safety gates, and e-stops. This site hosts a radioactive centrifuge or particle accelerator and has 7 rooms with multiple guard PLCs (Guard PLC) distributed among the rooms for safety monitoring. I/O will be converted to Point I/O or Compact 5000 I/O. We are the original developers of the existing safety program. We will use this program and migrate it to RSLogix 5000.
