Job Description

Overview:

This role offers an opportunity to showcase your technical expertise while contributing to the growth and success of a rapidly evolving custom automation shop.

Salary range: Up to $110,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop control systems for automated production lines, integrating components from various manufacturers.
  • Program and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs), human-machine interfaces (HMIs), and other industrial automation equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into effective control solutions.
  • Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of control systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance personnel.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of industrial automation.
  • Travel up to 25% of the time to support on-site installations and maintenance activities.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience in programming and troubleshooting industrial control systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text, and other relevant languages.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities (team player).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
