Controls Engineer
Job Description
- We seek a talented Automation Engineer to join our team and play a pivotal role in building the future of our manufacturing. You'll wear many hats – designer, builder, coder – and witness your creations come to life.
- Design and optimize factory layouts to make production smoother and faster.
- Identify areas for improvement in current processes – efficiency, quality, you name it!
- Analyze new product designs to ensure they can be manufactured flawlessly and affordably.
- Bring automation solutions to life – from concept to testing.
- Document everything – designs, test results, the whole shebang.
- Estimate costs for process upgrades and product changes.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching and evaluating new technologies
- Become a champion for quality and cost reduction – Lean and Six Sigma will be your new best friends.
- Design and develop automated systems and electromechanical equipment.
- Craft detailed blueprints for your mechanical masterpieces.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, or Manufacturing).
- At least 3 years of manufacturing experience with a deep understanding of mechatronics, automation, robotics, and various engineering systems.
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing automation systems is your jam.
- Bonus points if you're familiar with Allen-Bradley and IEC 61131 systems. Experience with Cognex vision systems is a plus too!
