Job Description:
This position is a Contracts Manager, the incumbent will primarily work on review of hundreds of records for cost and schedule impact.
Responsibilities:
- Manage updates to contract documents
- Coordinate with project team members and departments to identify root cause analysis, impact assessment, and quantification for change
- Review updates to property documents and specifications for change impact, and provide an analysis for each change
- Initiate estimating process for quantification of change impacts
- Prepare and present progress Status Reports
- Prepare documentation for change order negotiations packages
- Compile full change order package including justification, executive summary, estimates and check lists
- Prepare, maintain, retrieve, and communicate records, reports, or documents required to meet contractual requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 5+ years experience preferred, with a focus in infrastructure/transportation projects
- Strong hands-on experience with MS Office tools
- Strong interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with peers, management, DB Contractor and Owner
- Highly organized and ability to process multiple changes in parallel
- Some experience in contract administration a plus
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
