Job Description
- Developing PLC and HMI programming primarily using Allen-Bradley/Rockwell systems, while also adapting to other systems as needed.
- Collaborating with the team to design and create HMI screen graphics that enhance user experience and functionality.
- Assisting in the integration of cobots with adjacent machinery as per customer specifications.
- Contributing to component selection and estimation during the quotation phase of panel projects.
- Participating in start-up activities related to controls programming at customer sites as available.
- Becoming proficient in utilizing PCSCHEMATIC electrical CAD software for schematic design.
- Creating electrical panel layouts and schematic drawings based on the project Bill of Material.
- Expanding the library of electrical symbols and components within PCSCHEMATIC for the U.S. market.
- Potentially providing technical support to PCSCHEMATIC customers via email or phone.
- At least 5 years of practical experience in PLC and HMI programming.
- A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Proficiency in Allen-Bradley/Rockwell programming.
- Ability to travel to customer sites for start-up activities approximately 2-3 times per year (25% travel).
- Familiarity with electrical CAD software, particularly PCSCHEMATIC (preferred).
- Knowledge of concepts such as PID loops, pump lead-lag, totalization, and SCADA (preferred).
- Familiarity with cobot programming is a plus.
- Day Shift: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm
- Start and end times are negotiable based on commute circumstances.
