Target Pay Range: $55.00 - $65.00/hour (W2)

Job Summary:
The Project Engineer will play a critical role in managing all phases of complex capital projects, from early design through construction and commissioning. This position requires a hands-on engineer capable of coordinating between design teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver compliant, cost-effective facilities
Job Duties:
- Lead technical oversight of construction and installation activities for facilities valued from $10M to $500M+.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction managers to maintain project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Review and approve construction drawings, equipment specifications, and field changes.
- Monitor site work progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support commissioning, validation, and turnover documentation.
- Provide detailed reporting to project management and stakeholders on progress and risks.
Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of experience in construction project management within pharma, regulated food, or comparable industry.
- Degree in Construction Management or Engineering; advanced credentials (PE, AIA, PMP) preferred.
- Strong technical background and field experience on major capital projects.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel bi-weekly between North Chicago, IL (corporate office) and Bowling Green, OH (construction site)
