Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Description:
Are you a highly skilled and motivated Construction Manager with a passion for overseeing new construction projects and equipment installations? We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Construction Manager at our Crystal Lake, IL location. As a Construction Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing new construction and equipment installation projects while ensuring they are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial technology, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Experience: Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in managing new construction and new equipment installations.
Construction Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methods and technologies.
Technical Skills: Prior experience or understanding of metalworking, fabrication, power transmissions, mechanical equipment, electrical control, and/or programming is a plus.
Financial Acumen: Understanding of business Profit & Loss (P&L) practices and responsibility.
Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in blueprint reading is required, including familiarity with AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, or similar software.
Reporting: Reporting directly to D & V level management.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Travel: Ability and willingness to travel 70-80% of the time.
License: Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
Background Check: Background check is a requirement of the hiring process.
Computer Skills: Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Understanding of Microsoft Project is a plus.
Language: Bi-lingual abilities are a plus.
Certifications: OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus. Professional certification, such as CCM (Certified Construction Manager), AC (Associate Constructor), or CPC (Certified Professional Constructor), is also a plus.
