Target Pay Range: $75.00 - $100.00/hour (W2 w/full employee benefits)

Job Summary: 
This role will support a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company developing a new, greenfield campus in Lebanon, IN. Spanning 600 acres, the Lebanon API site will host multiple state-of-the-art Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) manufacturing facilities, including platforms for both Peptides and Small Molecules. This modern campus includes GMP warehouses, laboratories, administrative buildings, a tank farm, and supporting infrastructure.

The Field Construction Engineer – Site and GCs will work closely with the Senior Project Manager, Site Node Lead, and Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate various construction activities across the Lebanon API campus. This position plays a vital role in tracking and resolving project issues, coordinating multiple stakeholders, and ensuring construction progress meets quality and safety standards.

Job Duties:
  • Serve as part of the on-site team managing Site Node and General Conditions.
  • Track and drive resolution of project issues (technical and commercial).
  • Coordinate efforts between engineering firms, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Support and document project-related meetings, submittals, permits, and design progress.
  • Assist in review of in-place construction for quality and scope compliance.
  • Resolve design and constructability issues in collaboration with on-site construction team.
  • Participate in daily meetings to align on priorities and construction activities.
  • Support the management of procured services and materials.
  • Prepare and execute turnover packages using technical documentation and walkthroughs.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project engineering or management roles.
  • Prior experience working on active construction sites is highly preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework in construction, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to self-manage, stay organized, and adapt to new software tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must reside locally to Lebanon, IN or be willing to commute.
  • Safety and site orientation training will be provided on site.
