Target Salary: $50.00 - $60.00/hour (W2)

Overview:
Seeking a Commissioning Engineer to support the commissioning of new and modified facilities, utilities, and equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role partners closely with project engineers, system owners, and stakeholders to ensure systems are safely transitioned from construction to operations, meeting performance, reliability, safety, schedule, and compliance requirements.
 
Job Duties: 
  • Develop and support User Requirements Specifications (URS) and Functional/Design Specifications
  • Coordinate and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) with vendors and project teams
  • Develop and execute commissioning and testing protocols
  • Identify critical design elements using FMEA or risk-based approaches
  • Support troubleshooting during commissioning and document issues to resolution
  • Ensure commissioning documentation is compliant with FDA cGMP expectations
  • Support the development of SOPs and operating procedures
  • Train maintenance, engineering, and operations staff on new or modified systems
 
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science preferred
  • 3+ years of commissioning, facilities engineering, or equipment engineering experience
  • Experience commissioning facilities, utilities, or equipment in regulated industries
  • Ability to generate commissioning documentation that can stand up to regulatory review
  • Working knowledge of FDA cGMP requirements
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
