Title: Stock Room Clerk

Job Duties: 
  • Responsibilities: 
    1. Purchasing
      1. Work with requesters to seek bids for parts
      2. Seek approvals where necessary
      3. Create and send purchase orders
      4. Follow up with vendors on orders
      5. Receive parts physically and within purchasing system
      6. Tag parts and deliver to requester or stock
    2. Inventory
      1. Organize maintenance parts inventory
      2. Create and update parts in maintenance management software
      3. Update suppliers and costs
    3. Administrative
      1. Aid technicians with closing out maintenance work orders
      2. Assist with scheduling maintenance work orders
      3. Assist with department training needs
      4. Assist with maintaining PM schedules
      5. Maintain equipment inspection records
    4. Support operations with occasional after-hours and weekend work as-needed basis.
    5. Regular hours are Monday - Friday from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
    6. Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma/GED (Associates or higher preferred)
  • 3 to 5 + years’ stock room, maintenance department, or comparable experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with Asset Essentials or another CMMS is preferred
