CADD Drafter
Job Description
Title: CAD Drafter
Location: Westchester, IL
Hire Type: Diredct hire
Compensation: 70-75K
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Holiday Pay
- Minimum of 5 years of full-time CAD experience, with a focus on civil and transportation engineering projects
- Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D (2024 or later), including the ability to:
- Create and edit existing ground surfaces
- Create, modify, and manage horizontal and vertical alignments
- Develop and manage Data Shortcuts across project files
- Create, edit, and manage COGO points
- Create and edit surface and design profiles
- Work with corridors to generate cross sections
- Create and manage pressure networks and pipe networks
- Use Sheet Set Manager to organize, manage, and publish plan sets
- Ensure all drawing elements are placed on correct layers and create new layers as required
- Reference external drawings using Xrefs and maintain organized, efficient project file structures
- Experience with ESRI GIS software is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
