Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support survey crews in both field and office environments.
- Manage survey equipment, schedules, and project resources to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform complex survey calculations and oversee data processing and quality control.
- Produce and review deliverables to ensure compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
- Execute a variety of survey types, including ALTA/NSPS surveys, boundary surveys, construction stakeouts, and FEMA Elevation Certifications.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to support project planning, estimating, and execution.
- Assist with the adoption and implementation of new technologies, including 3D scanning, cloud data editing, and advanced survey software.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, field procedures, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in land surveying.
- Experience working with highway and land development plans.
- Advanced proficiency in CAD, including Carlson and/or InRoads.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) certification or Certified Survey Technician (CST) Level 3 or 4.
- Experience with Geomatics, LiDAR, UAS, GIS, GPS, and Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE).
- Experience with Leica Infinity and 3D scanning technologies.
- Strong understanding of survey standards, safety practices, and field procedures.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
