Technical Lead - Transmission
Job Description
Location: Remote (Unable to hire in New York, California, Hawaii, Connecticut, New Jersey, Oregon, Missouri, or Washington)
Hire Type: Contract-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Salary: $40-$60/hour

- Lead and support a team on multiple transmission design projects
- Manage a high volume of smaller projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and deadlines
- Provide proactive communication, technical support, and mentorship to team members
- Support natural gas transmission design and utility-related engineering activities
- Coordinate project documentation, layouts, and design deliverables
- Utilize AutoCAD for design and drafting support
- Interpret Sidwell maps and support land rights coordination efforts
- 3–6 years of engineering experience within utility or transmission-related projects
- Familiarity with Natural Gas Design required
- Nicor / NSG experience is a plus
- RNG, Biogas, and/or Hydrogen design experience is a plus
- Engineering degree required with ability to obtain a PE license
- Hands-on AutoCAD design experience and understanding of AutoCAD best practices
- Strong communication and mentoring abilities
