Target Pay Range: $60.00 - $70.00/hour (W2, with employee benefits)

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Project Manager with subject matter expertise in facility power generation to lead the front-end planning (FEP) for a backup generator capital project at our client’s manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for FEP activities and will ultimately oversee the entire project lifecycle to commissioning and execution.
Job Duties:
- Lead the front-end planning (FEP) phase, collaborating with Global Engineering to assess feasibility and determine project costs.
- Develop a routing request for planning and coordinate approval processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert, guiding the team on technical requirements for industrial generator installation.
- Oversee the transition from planning to execution, ensuring smooth commissioning and implementation of the backup generator system.
- Provide technical leadership and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met.
- Work with stakeholders to navigate project approval processes, including routing requests for capital expense once the FEP phase is complete.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery within scope.
- Collaborate with internal teams and contractors to mitigate risks and optimize project outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is preferred.
- Electrical engineering background with expertise in industrial power generator installation.
- Proven project management experience in capital projects within manufacturing or industrial settings.
- Strong knowledge of backup power systems, commissioning, and execution planning.
- Ability to manage projects from initial planning through full implementation.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
